Educational Q&A

This line is a colophon, not a doctrinal verse: it signals the completion of a Mokṣa-dharma chapter centered on Śuka, whose departure/ascent functions as a narrative emblem of liberation—transcending worldly ties and culminating in spiritual consummation.

The text is formally closing a chapter in the Śānti Parva’s Mokṣa-dharma section, titled “Śukotpatanasamāpti.” It marks the end of the episode/discourse concerning Śuka’s departure (utpatana) and the completion of that chapter’s instruction.
