पितृयज्ञे नारायणतत्त्वम् — The Nārāyaṇa Grounding of Ancestral Offerings
शब्देनाकाशमखिल पूरयन्निव सर्वशः । तमापतन्तं सहसा दृष्टवा सर्वाप्सरोगणा:
śabdenākāśam akhilaṁ pūrayann iva sarvaśaḥ | tam āpatantaṁ sahasā dṛṣṭvā sarvāpsarogaṇāḥ ||
As though filling the entire sky on every side with his resounding sound, he came rushing down. Seeing him suddenly descending, all the assembled bands of Apsarases were struck with alarm and attention.
शुक उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical-narrative idea that overwhelming power or sudden arrival can disturb even refined beings; it cautions against complacency and underscores the need for steadiness of mind when confronted with unexpected force or change.
Śuka describes a figure descending rapidly with a thunderous sound that seems to fill the whole sky; the hosts of Apsarases notice him at once and react to the sudden, imposing arrival.
