देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship

न तत्र संविभज्यते स्वकर्मणा परस्परम्‌ | तथा कृतं स्वकर्मजं तदेव भुज्यते फलम्‌,वहाँ अपने कर्मके अनुसार जो फल प्राप्त होता है, उसका किसीके साथ बँटवारा नहीं होता। वहाँ तो अपने किये हुए कर्मोका ही फल भोगना होता है

Transliteration

na tatra saṃvibhajyate svakarmaṇā parasparam | tathā kṛtaṃ svakarmajaṃ tadeva bhujyate phalam ||

Translation

There, the fruit one obtains according to one’s own deeds is not shared with anyone else. In that realm, one experiences only the consequence born of one’s own actions—each being must taste the fruit of what one has done.
