देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship

धर्माय ये5भ्यसूयन्ति बुद्धिमोहान्विता नरा: । अपथा गच्छतां तेषामनुयाता5पि पीड्यते,जो बुद्धिके व्यामोहमें डूबे हुए मनुष्य धर्मसे द्वेष करते हैं, वे सदा कुमार्गसे ही चलते हैं। उनकी तो बात ही क्या है, उनके अनुयायियोंको भी कष्ट भोगना पड़ता है

vyāsa uvāca | dharmāya ye 'bhyasūyanti buddhimohānvitā narāḥ | apathā gacchatāṁ teṣām anuyātā 'pi pīḍyate ||

Vyāsa said: Men whose intellect is clouded by delusion grow resentful toward dharma. Such people inevitably proceed along a wrong path; and not only they, but even those who follow in their wake are made to suffer.
