आत्मना विप्रहीणानि काष्ठकुड्यसमानि तु । विनश्यन्ति न संदेह: फेना इव महार्णवे,जैसे महासागरमें उठे हुए फेन नष्ट हो जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार जीवात्मासे परित्यक्त होनेपर मनुष्यकी काठ और दीवारकी भाँति जड इन्द्रियाँ प्रकृतिमें विलीन हो जाती हैं, इसमें संदेह नहीं है

Translation

“When bereft of the self, the senses are like wood and walls—insentient. They perish without doubt and dissolve back into Nature, like foam that rises upon the vast ocean and vanishes.”
