Transliteration
viśeṣa-dharmā nṛpate varṇānāṁ parikīrtitāḥ | dharmān sādhāraṇāṁs tāta vistareṇa śṛṇuṣva me, mahārāja ||
Translation
O king, the particular duties of the social orders have already been set forth. Now, dear one—O great king—listen to me as I explain in detail the common duties that apply to all.
