Chapter 29
युवा श्यामो लोहिताक्षो मातज़् इव यूथप: । आजानुबाहु: सुमुख: सिंहस्कन्धो महाभुज:,“श्रीरामचन्द्रजी नवयुवक और श्याम वर्णवाले थे। उनकी आँखोंमें कुछ-कुछ लालिमा शोभा देती थी। वे यूथयति गजराजके समान शक्तिशाली थे। उनकी बड़ी-बड़ी भुजाएँ घुटनोंतक लंबी थीं। उनका मुख सुन्दर और कंधे सिंहके समान थे
yuvā śyāmo lohitākṣo mātaga iva yūthapaḥ | ājānubāhuḥ sumukhaḥ siṁhaskandho mahābhujaḥ ||
Vāyu said: “Rāma was youthful and dark-complexioned, with eyes tinged with a gentle redness. He was powerful like the leader of an elephant herd. His arms were long, reaching to his knees; his face was handsome; his shoulders were like a lion’s, and his arms were mighty.”
