तावती: प्रददौ गा: स शिविरौशीनरो<ध्वरे । “आज संसारमें जंगली पशुओंसहित जितने गाय-बैल और घोड़े हैं, उतनी संख्यामें उशीनरपुत्र शिबिने अपने यज्ञमें केवल गौओंका दान किया

tāvatīḥ pradadau gāḥ sa śibirauśīnaro 'dhvare |

Vāyu said: “In that sacrifice, Śibi, the son of Uśīnara, gave away cows in such an immense number—equal to all the cows, bulls, and horses that exist in the world, including those among wild creatures.” The statement extols Śibi’s extraordinary generosity and the dharmic ideal of selfless giving through yajña.
