Chapter 29

यस्मै वद्ठिवरर प्रादात्‌ ततो वव्रे वरान्‌ गयः । ददतो यो3क्षयं वित्तं धर्मे श्रद्धा च वर्धताम्‌

yasmai vahnivaraḥ prādāt tato vavre varān gayaḥ | dadato yo 'kṣayaṁ vittaṁ dharme śraddhā ca vardhatām ||

To the one to whom the Fire-god granted a boon, Gaya thereupon chose his own boons: “May the wealth I give in the cause of dharma become inexhaustible, and may my faith in righteousness ever increase.”
