Adhyāya 283: Varṇa-vṛtti, Nyāya-ārjana, and the Decline-and-Restoration of Dharma (वर्णवृत्तिः न्यायार्जनं च)

आधावन्ति प्रधावन्ति वायुवेगा मनोजवा: । चूर्ण्यन्ते यज्ञपात्राणि दिव्यान्याभरणानि च,वायु और मनके समान वेगशाली कितने ही पार्षद इधर-उधर दौड़ लगाने लगे। कुछ लोग यज्ञके उपयोगमें आनेवाले पात्रों तथा दिव्य आभूषणोंको चूर-चूर कर रहे थे

ādhāvanti pradhāvanti vāyuvegā manojavāḥ | cūrṇyante yajñapātrāṇi divyāny ābharaṇāni ca ||

They ran and rushed about—attendants swift as the wind and as quick as thought. The sacrificial vessels were being smashed to powder, and even divine ornaments were being shattered.
