Bhīṣma said: Viśvāvasu the Gandharva, and the sages Nārada and Parvata, together with many companies of Apsarases, assembled there in great numbers. Sanatkumāra and other great seers, Aṅgirā and other divine Ṛṣis as well—these celestial beings would come to that mountain to worship Mahādeva (Śiva).
भीष्म उवाच
Even the highest celestial beings—Gandharvas, Apsarases, and divine sages—seek spiritual merit through humble worship of Mahādeva. The verse highlights devotion as a universal dharmic practice that purifies and elevates, irrespective of status.
Bhīṣma describes a sacred gathering on a mountain where renowned celestial figures (Viśvāvasu, Nārada, Parvata, groups of Apsarases, and great Ṛṣis like Sanatkumāra and Aṅgiras) repeatedly assemble to worship Śiva.
