सनत्कुमारप्रमुखास्तथैव च महर्षय: । अज्धिर:प्रमुखाश्वैव तथा देवर्षयो5परे
Sanatkumāra-pramukhās tathaiva ca maharṣayaḥ | Aṅgirāḥ-pramukhāś caiva tathā devarṣayo 'pare ||
Bhīṣma said: The great sages led by Sanatkumāra, and likewise those headed by Aṅgiras, as well as other divine seers, used to come there. In context, the passage evokes a sacred gathering of exemplary beings who approach the holy place in a spirit of reverence—modeling devotion, discipline, and the ethical ideal of honoring the divine through worship.
भीष्म उवाच
