भीष्म उवाच एवमुक््त्वा स कौन्तेय वृत्र: प्राणानवासृजत् । योजयित्वा तथा55त्मानं परं स्थानमवाप्तवान्,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--कुन्तीनन्दन! ऐसा कहकर वृत्रासुरने अपने आत्माको परमात्मामें लगाकर उन्हींका ध्यान करते हुए प्राण त्याग दिये और परमेश्वरके परमधामको प्राप्त कर लिया
Transliteration
bhīṣma uvāca evam uktvā sa kaunteya vṛtraḥ prāṇān avāsṛjat | yojayitvā tathātmānaṁ paraṁ sthānam avāptavān ||
Translation
Bhishma said: “O son of Kunti, having spoken thus, Vritra gave up his life-breaths. Fixing his self in that manner upon the Supreme, meditating on Him, he attained the highest abode of the Lord.”
