Bhishma said: “O you of undiminished courage, O mighty Daitya-king of surpassing strength! Thus, here I have recounted to you the power—and the manifest greatness—of Lord Nārāyaṇa. Let this understanding restrain pride, steady the mind, and turn strength toward righteous conduct rather than rivalry with the divine.”

Even the mightiest worldly power is secondary to the supreme power of Nārāyaṇa; recognizing this fosters humility and redirects strength toward dharma rather than ego-driven opposition.
Bhīṣma concludes an explanatory account addressed to a powerful Daitya king, stating that he has now described Nārāyaṇa’s strength and extraordinary influence, effectively closing a doctrinal narration about divine supremacy.
