Kapila teaches that the supreme Reality—like space, unattached, imperishable, eternally ancient and unshifting—is realized by those whose inner eye is purified by wisdom. Such seers reach it through auspicious disciplines embodied as spiritual radiance (tejas), forbearance (kṣamā), and peace (śānti), and therefore he offers reverence to that Brahman, the highest principle known by the true knower of Brahman.
