मोक्षोपाय-निर्णयः
Determination of the Means to Liberation

गरीयांसो गरीयांसमपराधे पुन: पुनः । तदा विसर्गमर्हन्ति न यथा प्रथमे तथा,यदि मनुष्य बार-बार अपराध करे, तो प्रमुख विचारकगण उसके अपराधके लिये गुरुतर दण्ड प्रदान करें। उस अवस्थामें पहले बारके अपराधकी भाँति वे बिना दण्ड दिये छोड़ देनेके योग्य नहीं रह जाते हैं
Translation
If a man commits offenses again and again, the foremost judges should award a heavier punishment for his crime. In that case, he is no longer fit to be released without penalty as he might be for a first offense.
