Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization

वायोरपि विकुर्वाणाज्ज्योतिर्भवति भास्वरम्‌ | रोचिष्णु जायते शुक्र तद्रूपगुणमुच्यते,फिर वायुमें भी विकार होता है और उससे प्रकाशपूर्ण अग्नि-तत्त्व प्रकट होता है। वह अग्नि-तत्त्व चमचमाता हुआ एवं दीप्तिमान्‌ है। उसका गुण “रूप! बताया जाता है

vāyor api vikurvāṇāj jyotir bhavati bhāsvaram | rociṣṇu jāyate śukra tad-rūpa-guṇam ucyate ||

Vyāsa explains the sequence of elemental transformation: even within wind (vāyu), a modification arises, and from that arises radiant fire as luminous light. That fire-element is shining and brilliant; its characteristic quality is said to be “form/visibility” (rūpa).
