ईरष्याभिमानलोभेषु कामक्रोधभयेषु च

Transliteration

īrṣyābhimānalobheṣu kāmakrodhabhayeṣu ca

Translation

Bhīṣma said: “In jealousy, pride, and greed—and likewise in desire, anger, and fear—one must be vigilant, for these inner forces disturb judgment and lead a person away from righteous conduct.”
