अदृष्टं बत पश्यामि द्विषतां वशमागतम् | श्रिया विहीन मित्रैश्व भ्रष्टवीर्यपराक्रमम्,आज तुम्हारी ऐसी अवस्था देख रहा हूँ, जो पहले कभी नहीं देखी गयी थी। तुम शत्रुओंके वशमें पड़ गये हो। राजलक्ष्मी तथा मित्रोंसे हीन हो गये हो तथा तुम्हारा बल- पराक्रम नष्ट हो गया है
Translation
“A strange sight indeed I behold—such a state as was never seen before. You have fallen under the sway of your foes; bereft of royal fortune and of friends, your strength and heroic prowess have been undone.”
