Manifest–Unmanifest Discrimination and the Supreme Path of Withdrawal

न्यायतन्त्राण्यनेकानि तैस्तैरुक्तानि वादिभि: । हेत्वागमसदाचारैर्यदुक्ते तदुपास्यताम्‌,तर्कशील दिद्वानोंने तर्कशास्त्रके अनेक ग्रन्थोंका प्रणणयन किया। उन महर्षियोंने युक्तियुक्त शास्त्र और सदाचारके द्वारा जिस ब्रह्मका उपदेश किया है, उसीकी तुम भी उपासना करो

nyāya-tantrāṇy anekāni tais tair uktāni vādibhiḥ | hetv-āgama-sadācārair yad ukte tad upāsyatām ||

Bhīṣma said: “Many systems of reasoning and debate have been propounded by various disputants. Yet that Reality which the sages have taught through sound reasoning, authoritative tradition (āgama), and righteous conduct—let that alone be worshipped and adhered to.”
