अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः

Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence

मरीचे: कश्यप: पुत्रस्तस्य द्वे नामनी स्मृते । अरिष्टनेमिरित्येके कश्यपेत्यपरे विदु:,मरीचिके पुत्र जो कश्यप हैं, उनके भी दो नाम माने गये हैं। कुछ लोग उन्हें अरिष्टनेमि कहते हैं और दूसरे लोग उन्हें कश्यपके नामसे जानते हैं

marīceḥ kaśyapaḥ putras tasya dve nāmanī smṛte | ariṣṭanemir ity eke kaśyapety apare viduḥ ||

Bhishma said: Marichi’s son is Kashyapa. Tradition remembers that he is known by two names: some call him Ariṣṭanemi, while others recognize him by the name Kashyapa.
