Wealth, Sacrifice, and Disciplined Giving

You have heard of King Hariścandra, the lord of the earth. Though human, he surpassed even Śakra (Indra) by the power of his prosperity; and by performing many sacrifices he became a sharer in great merit and free from sorrow. Therefore, one should devote one’s entire wealth to the sacrifice—placing all resources in the service of righteous offering and duty.
