सत्य–अनृत, प्रकाश–तमस्, स्वर्ग–नरक विवेचनम्

Truth and Untruth as Light and Darkness; Svarga and Naraka as Ethical Consequences

कैलासशिखरे दृष्टवा दीप्यमानं महौजसम्‌ | भगुं महर्षिमासीनं भरद्वाजो<न्वपृच्छत,कैलास पर्वतके शिखरपर अपने तेजसे देदीप्यमान होते हुए महातेजस्वी महर्षि भूगुको बैठा देख भरद्वाज मुनिने पूछा--

kailāsa-śikhare dṛṣṭvā dīpyamānaṁ mahaujasam | bhṛguṁ maharṣim āsīnaṁ bharadvājo 'nvapṛcchat ||

Bhīṣma said: “Upon the summit of Mount Kailāsa, Bharadvāja beheld the great sage Bhṛgu seated there, blazing with his own radiance. Seeing that ṛṣi of mighty splendor, he drew near and put forth a question—thus beginning a dialogue meant to make dharma clear through the authority of an illumined seer.”
