इत्युक्ता राक्षसास्तेन शूलपट्टिशपाणय:

ity uktā rākṣasās tena śūla-paṭṭiśa-pāṇayaḥ

Bhīṣma said: Thus addressed by him, the rākṣasas—bearing spears and battle-axes in their hands—stood ready to act, poised to carry out his command.
