Bhishma said: “O Bharata! After the meal, the mighty Virupaksha piled up before the Brahmins many heaps of gold and silver, gems and pearls—along with costly diamonds, vaidurya stones, the hide of the rangu deer, and other treasures. Then he addressed those excellent Brahmins: ‘Best of the twice-born! Take these jewels away according to your own wish and zeal; and also carry to your homes the very vessels from which you have eaten.’”
