तासु ते पूजिता राज्ञा निषण्णा द्विजसत्तमा: । तिलदर्भोदकेनाथ अर्चिता विधिवद्‌ द्विजा:,राजाके द्वारा सम्मानित वे श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मण जब उन आसनोंपर विराजमान हो गये तब विरूपाक्षने तिल, कुश और जल लेकर उनका विधिवत्‌ पूजन किया

tāsu te pūjitā rājñā niṣaṇṇā dvijasattamāḥ | tiladarbhodakenātha arcitā vidhivad dvijāḥ ||

Bhishma said: When those foremost Brahmins, having been honored by the king, had taken their seats upon those seats, then Virūpākṣa, taking sesame, kuśa-grass, and water, worshipped those Brahmins in due ritual form.
