Adhyāya 164: Gautama as Guest; Kaśyapa’s Satkāra and the Fourfold Arthagati; Journey to Virūpākṣa
इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि आपद्धर्मपर्वणि लोभनिरूपणे त्रिषष्ट्यधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi āpaddharmaparvaṇi lobhanirūpaṇe triṣaṣṭyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Thus ends the one-hundred-and-sixty-third chapter of the Āpaddharma section within the Śānti Parva of the Śrī Mahābhārata, in which the nature and workings of greed (lobha) are examined. This colophon marks the completion of Bhīṣma’s discourse on how greed distorts judgment and undermines dharma, especially in times of crisis.
