त्रिवर्गविचारः

Tri-varga Deliberation: Dharma, Artha, Kāma

भीष्म उवाच हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि येन श्रेयो हवाप्स्यसि । पीत्वामृतमिव प्राज्ञो ज्ञानतृप्तो भविष्यसि,भीष्मजीने कहा--युधिष्ठिर! मैं बड़े हर्षके साथ तुम्हें वह उपाय बताता हूँ, जिससे तुम कल्याण प्राप्त कर लोगे। जैसे अमृतको पीकर पूर्ण तृप्ति हो जाती है, उसी प्रकार तुम ज्ञानी होकर इस ज्ञान-सुधासे पूर्णतः तृप्त हो जाओगे

bhīṣma uvāca | hanta te kathayiṣyāmi yena śreyo hy avāpsyasi | pītvāmṛtam iva prājño jñāna-tṛpto bhaviṣyasi ||

Bhishma said: “Come, I shall tell you the means by which you will attain true welfare. Just as one becomes fully satisfied after drinking nectar, so too will you, becoming wise, be completely fulfilled by this knowledge.”
