अज्ञान–लोभयोः परस्परहेतुत्वम्
Mutual Causality of Ignorance and Greed

अपि चाप्सु निमज्जेत जपेस्त्रिरघमर्षणम् । यथाश्वमेधावभूथस्तथा तन्मनुरब्रवीत्,यदि मनुष्य तीन बार अघमर्षणका जप करते हुए जलमें गोता लगावे तो उसे अश्वमेधयज्ञमें अवभूथस्नान करनेका फल मिलता है, ऐसा मनुजीने कहा है
Transliteration
api cāpsu nimajjet japet trir-aghamarṣaṇam | yathāśvamedhāvabhūthaḥ tathā tan manur abravīt, yadi |
Translation
Śaunaka said: “If a person immerses himself in water and recites the Aghamarṣaṇa three times, he attains the same merit as the concluding purificatory bath (avabhṛtha-snāna) of an Aśvamedha sacrifice—so Manu has declared.”
