Educational Q&A

Cruel and violent conduct (raudra karma) destroys social and moral support: even friends and family withdraw, showing how adharma isolates a person and brings consequences through loss of trust and relationship.

Bhishma describes a person whose harsh deeds have made him socially deserted—he has no well-wishers or relatives left, because everyone has renounced association with him due to his terrible actions.
