Śaraṇāgata-Atithi-Dharma in the Kapota Narrative (कपोत-आख्यानम्—शरणागतधर्मः)

विभिन्नकलशाकीर्ण श्वरचर्मच्छेदनायुतम्‌ । वराहखरभग्नास्थिकपालघटसंकुलम्‌,वहाँ चारों ओर टूटे-फूटे घरोंके खपरे और ठीकरे बिखरे पड़े थे, कुत्तोंके चमड़े छेदनेवाले हथियार रखे हुए थे, सूअरों और गदहोंकी टूटी हड्डियाँ, खपड़े और घड़े वहाँ सब ओर भरे दिखायी दे रहे थे

Translation

There, broken roof-tiles and shards of pots lay scattered on every side; tools for cutting and piercing dog-skins were set about; and the place was crowded with the splintered bones of boars and donkeys, with skulls and fragments of jars and pitchers everywhere.
