आपद्धर्मनिर्णयः — विश्वामित्र-श्वपचसंवादः

सत्कृतो<हं त्वया मित्र सामर्थ्यादात्मन: सखे | स मां मित्रत्वमापन्नमुपभोक्तुं त्वमहसि,“सखे! मित्र! तुमने अपनी शक्तिके अनुसार मेरा पूरा सत्कार किया है और मैं भी तुम्हारा मित्र हो गया हूँ; अतः तुम्हें मेरे साथ रहकर इस मित्रताका सुख भोगना चाहिये

satkṛto ’haṃ tvayā mitra sāmarthyād ātmanaḥ sakhe | sa māṃ mitratvam āpannam upabhoktuṃ tvam arhasi ||

Bhishma said: “O friend, dear companion, you have honored me to the full extent of your ability. I, too, have entered into friendship with you; therefore it is fitting that you remain with me and partake of the happiness and privilege that come from this bond of friendship.”
