Educational Q&A

Consistent virtuous conduct (puṇya-śīla) surely yields the highest spiritual outcome: an exalted destination and a superior abode in heaven, emphasizing the moral certainty of karmic results.

In the Śānti Parva’s instruction, Bhīṣma continues advising on righteous living and its fruits, assuring the listener that merit-based conduct leads to the best posthumous state, described as the most excellent place in Triviṣṭapa (Svarga).
