Duryodhana’s Post-Duel Lament and Instructions (भग्नसक्थस्य विलापः)
अज्ञातवासचर्या च नानावेषसमावृतै: । अन्ये च बहव: क्लेशात् त्वशक्तैरिव सर्वदा,उन्होंने नाना प्रकारके वेशोंमें अपनेको छिपाकर अज्ञातवासका कष्ट भोगा। इसके सिवा और भी बहुत-से क्लेश उन्हें असमर्थ पुरुषोंके समान सदा सहन करने पड़े हैं
ajñātavāsacaryā ca nānāveṣasamāvṛtaiḥ | anye ca bahavaḥ kleśāt tvaśaktair iva sarvadā ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “Disguised in many different guises, they endured the hardship of living incognito. Beyond this, they were compelled to bear many other afflictions as well—continually, as though they were powerless men—patiently submitting to suffering in order to uphold their chosen course.”
