न्यवेदयद् रथं सज्जं केशवाय महात्मने । केशवका यह आदेश सुनकर दारुकने बड़ी उतावलीके साथ रथको सुसज्जित किया और उन महात्माको इसकी सूचना दी
nyavedayad rathaṃ sajjaṃ keśavāya mahātmane |
Vaiśampāyana said: Dāruka, having heard Keśava’s instruction, promptly had the chariot made fully ready and then informed that great-souled Keśava that it was prepared.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic service: a subordinate carries out a rightful command quickly and accurately, showing readiness, loyalty, and responsibility—virtues essential in crisis, especially in wartime.
After receiving Keśava’s order, Dāruka hastens to have the chariot fully prepared and then reports back to Keśava that it is ready.
