Duryodhana’s Post-Duel Lament and Instructions (भग्नसक्थस्य विलापः)

प्रत्यक्ष मे महाबाहो संग्रामे लोमहर्षणे । विमर्द: सुमहान्‌ प्राप्तस्त्वया यादवनन्दन,“यादवनन्दन! महाबाहो! इस रोमांचकारी संग्राममें जो महान्‌ विनाश प्राप्त हुआ था, वह सब आपने प्रत्यक्ष देखा था

pratyakṣaṃ me mahābāho saṅgrāme lomaharṣaṇe | vimardaḥ sumahān prāptas tvayā yādavanandana ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “O mighty-armed one, O delight of the Yādavas, in this hair-raising battle the immense slaughter and crushing turmoil that occurred was witnessed by you directly.”
