ब्रुवतो5सदृशं तत्र प्रोवाच मधुसूदन: । प्रशंसा करनेवाले वीरगण वहाँ एकत्र होकर भीमसेनसे उपर्युक्त बातें कह रहे थे। भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने जब देखा कि पुरुषसिंह पांचाल और पाण्डव अयोग्य बातें कह रहे हैं, तब वे वहाँ उन सबसे बोले-- ।। नन््याय्यं निहतं शत्रुं भूयो हन्तुं नराधिपा:
Translation
Sañjaya said: As those praising warriors spoke there, Madhusūdana (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) replied. Seeing the Pāñcālas and the Pāṇḍavas—lions among men—uttering what was unseemly, he addressed them all: “It is not righteous, O kings, to strike again an enemy already slain…”
