so 'ntarikṣacarān siddhān samapaśyat samāhitān | jaigīṣavyaṃ ca taiḥ siddhaiḥ pūjyamānam apaśyata ||
Vaiśampāyana said: He then beheld perfected beings (siddhas) moving through the mid-air, all composed and absorbed in contemplation; and among them he saw Jaigīṣavya being honored and worshipped by those very siddhas.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights that true honor arises from inner steadiness (samāhita) and realized spiritual excellence (siddhi). Even in a world dominated by conflict and power, dharmic culture recognizes and venerates authentic ascetic attainment.
The narrator describes a vision: celestial siddhas moving through the sky, absorbed in concentration, and Jaigīṣavya among them receiving worship from those siddhas—signaling the presence and authority of higher spiritual beings within the episode.
