Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage
वैशम्पायन उवाच राजन् सप्त सरस्वत्यो याभिव्यप्तमिदं जगत् । आहूता बलवद्धिह्िं तत्र तत्र सरस्वती,वैशम्पायनजीने कहा--राजन्! सरस्वती नामकी सात नदियाँ और हैं, जो इस सारे जगत्में फैली हुई हैं। तपोबलसम्पन्न महात्माओंने जहाँ-जहाँ सरस्वतीका आवाहन किया है, वहाँ-वहाँ वे गयी हैं
vaiśampāyana uvāca rājān sapta sarasvatyo yābhir vyāptam idaṃ jagat | āhūtā balavad dhiḥiṃ tatra tatra sarasvatī ||
Vaiśampāyana said: O King, there are seven rivers called Sarasvatī by which this world is pervaded. Wherever the mighty, austerity-endowed sages have invoked Sarasvatī, there and there she has manifested—answering their call.
