Kṛpa’s Counsel to Duryodhana

गान्धारराजं शीघ्रास्त्रमनुसृत्य यशस्विनौ । अचिरात्‌ प्रत्यदृश्येतां माद्रीपुत्रो ससात्यकी,सात्यकिसहित यशस्वी माद्रीकुमार नकुल और सहदेव शीघ्रतापूर्वक अस्त्र चलानेवाले गान्धारराज शकुनिका तुरंत पीछा करते हुए दिखायी दिये

sañjaya uvāca |

gāndhārarājaṃ śīghrāstram anusṛtya yaśasvinau |

acirāt pratyadṛśyetāṃ mādrīputro sasātyakiḥ ||

Sañjaya said: Pursuing the king of Gāndhāra, Śakuni, who was swift in the use of weapons, the two illustrious sons of Mādrī—together with Sātyaki—soon came into view.
