Chapter 23: Śakuni Reports, Kaurava Advance, and Arjuna’s Penetration of the Host

श्रमाभिभूता: संरब्धा: श्रान्तवाहा: पिपासव: । विक्षताश्न शितै: शस्त्रैरभ्यवर्तन्त तावका:,आपके सैनिक परिश्रमसे थक गये थे, क्रोधमें भरे हुए थे, उनके वाहन भी थकावटसे चूर-चूर हो रहे थे और वे सब-के-सब प्याससे पीड़ित थे। उनके सारे अंग तीक्ष्ण शस्त्रोंसे क्षत-विक्षत हो गये थे

Your soldiers were overcome by toil and inflamed with wrath; their mounts and chariots were worn out, and all were tormented by thirst. Their limbs were torn and mangled by keen weapons, yet they still pressed forward into the fight.
