Sañjaya said: “Today, let them remember the truthful and beneficial words spoken by the chamberlain Vidura. Today, let them finally understand that Arjuna, Kuntī’s son, is the foremost and most powerful among all archers. Today, let the sinful and misguided Dhritarashtra take his fill of self-reproach and recall the true, welfare-bearing counsel that Vidura had spoken. And from this day onward, let them conduct themselves toward Pārtha (Arjuna) as though he were their master.”

Truthful counsel given for the welfare of all (satya-hita) should be remembered and heeded; ignoring wise advice leads to regret, and ethical failure in leadership culminates in self-reproach.
Sanjaya, reporting to Dhritarashtra, declares that the day’s events should make everyone recognize Arjuna’s unmatched prowess and should force Dhritarashtra to recall Vidura’s earlier warnings and feel the weight of his own culpability.
