Aśvatthāmā’s Buddhi-Doctrine and Nocturnal Incursion Resolve (अश्वत्थाम्नः बुद्धिविचारः सौप्तिकसंकल्पश्च)

दुर्योधनस्य कर्णस्य भीष्मसैन्धवयोरपि । गमयिष्यामि पञ्चालान्‌ पदवीमद्य दुर्गमाम्‌,“आज पांचालोंको दुर्योधन, कर्ण, भीष्म तथा जयद्रथके दुर्गम मार्गपर भेजकर छोड़ूँगा

duryodhanasya karṇasya bhīṣmasaindhavayor api | gamayiṣyāmi pañcālān padavīm adya durgamām ||
