सभ्यास्तु ये तत्र बभूवुरन्ये ताभ्यामृते धार्तराष्ट्रेण चैव । तेषामभूद्‌ दुःखमतीव कृष्णां दृष्टवा सभायां परिकृष्यमाणाम्‌,उस समय वहाँ जितने सभासद्‌ उपस्थित थे, उनमेंसे कर्ण, शकुनि और दुर्योधनको छोड़कर अन्य सब लोगोंको सभामें इस प्रकार घसीटी जाती हुई द्रौपदीकी दुर्दशा देखकर बड़ा दुःख हुआ

Transliteration

sabhyās tu ye tatra babhūvur anye tābhyām ṛte dhārtarāṣṭreṇa caiva | teṣām abhūd duḥkham atīva kṛṣṇāṃ dṛṣṭvā sabhāyāṃ parikṛṣyamāṇām ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: Of all the other courtiers who were present there—except those two and Dhṛtarāṣṭra—great anguish arose in them when they saw Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī) being dragged about in the assembly hall.
