भुक्तमेतेन बद्धन्नं क्रीडता नगमूर्थनि । इति ते भीष्म शृण्वाना: परे विस्मयमागता:,भीष्म! कृष्णने गोवर्धनपर्वतके शिखरपर खेलते हुए अकेले ही बहुत-सा अन्न खा लिया, यह बात भी तुम्हारे मुँहले सुनकर दूसरे लोगोंको ही आश्चर्य हुआ होगा (मुझे नहीं)

Transliteration

bhuktam etena baddhānnaṁ krīḍatā nagamūrdhani | iti te bhīṣma śṛṇvānāḥ pare vismayam āgatāḥ ||

Translation

Śiśupāla said: “Bhīṣma, they say that while playing upon the mountain’s summit he alone consumed a great quantity of prepared food. Hearing such words from your own mouth, others must indeed have been struck with amazement—though I am not.”
