Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection
तद्घाक्यसमकालं च कृतं सर्व न्यवेदयत् । सहदेवो युधां श्रेष्ठो धर्मराजे युधिषछ्ठिरे,धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरकी यह बात समाप्त होते ही योद्धाओंमें श्रेष्ठ सहदेवने उनसे निवेदन किया, “यह सब व्यवस्था हो चुकी है”
tad-vākya-samakālaṃ ca kṛtaṃ sarvaṃ nyavedayat | sahadevo yudhāṃ śreṣṭho dharmarāje yudhiṣṭhire ||
As soon as those words were concluded, Sahadeva—foremost among warriors—reported to King Yudhiṣṭhira, the upholder of dharma, that all the arrangements had been duly completed.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic administration: tasks are completed properly and then formally reported to the rightful authority. Ethical leadership is supported by disciplined execution and transparent communication.
After a prior statement concludes, Sahadeva promptly approaches Yudhiṣṭhira and informs him that all necessary arrangements have been made, reflecting the orderly functioning of the royal court.
