Description of Brahmā’s Assembly and the Eminence of Hariścandra
भगवन् द्रष्टमिच्छामि पितामहसभां शुभाम् | येन वा तपसा शक्या कर्मणा वापि गोपते,“'भगवन्! मैं भी ब्रह्माजीकी कल्याणमयी सभाका दर्शन करना चाहता हूँ। किरणोंके स्वामी सूर्यदेव! जिस तपस्यासे, सत्कर्मसे अथवा उपयुक्त ओषधियोंके प्रभावसे उस पापनाशिनी उत्तम सभाका दर्शन हो सके, वह मुझे बताइये। भगवन्! मैं जैसे भी उस सभाको देख सकूँ, उस उपायका वर्णन कीजिये'
bhagavan draṣṭum icchāmi pitāmaha-sabhāṃ śubhām | yena vā tapasā śakyā karmaṇā vāpi gopate ||
Nārada said: “O Blessed Lord, I wish to behold the auspicious assembly-hall of the Grandfather (Brahmā). O Lord of the rays (Sun), by what austerity, or by what righteous action, is it possible to gain that vision? Tell me the means by which I may see that purifying, excellent sabhā.”
