Chapter 6: Dāruka’s Report; Arjuna Witnesses Dvārakā’s Desolation (दारुकवृत्तान्तः—अर्जुनस्य द्वारकादर्शनम्)
एवमुक्त्वा हृषीकेशो मामचिन्त्यपराक्रम:
evam uktvā hṛṣīkeśo mām acintyaparākramaḥ
Vasudeva said: “Having spoken thus, Hṛṣīkeśa—whose prowess is beyond all imagining—then turned his attention to me.”
वसुदेव उवाच
The verse highlights the idea of divine agency and incomprehensible power: Kṛṣṇa’s actions and capacity transcend ordinary calculation, reminding the reader that dharma and destiny in the epic often unfold through forces beyond human grasp.
Vasudeva narrates that after speaking, Kṛṣṇa (Hṛṣīkeśa), described as possessing unimaginable prowess, directs his attention toward Vasudeva—serving as a transition into the next action or instruction within the Mausala Parva’s account of the Yādavas’ final events.
