कृतान्तमन्यथा नैच्छत् कर्तु स जगतः प्रभु: । श्वोभूतेडथ ततः साम्बो मुसलं तदसूत वै,यद्यपि भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण सम्पूर्ण जगत्के ईश्वर हैं तथापि यदुवंशियोंपर आनेवाले उस कालको उन्होंने पलटनेकी इच्छा नहीं की। दूसरे दिन सबेरा होते ही साम्बने उस मूसलको जन्म दिया
Translation
Though Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the Lord of the whole world, he did not wish to overturn the kṛtānta—the destined end—appointed to fall upon the Yādavas. When the next morning came, Sāmba brought forth that club.
