pragṛhya ca kuruśreṣṭha sāṅgadaṃ dakṣiṇaṃ bhujam | uvāca dharmabhṛt pārtha ubhau tau keśavārjunau ||
O best of the Kurus, then the righteous king Yudhiṣṭhira, taking in his own hand the right arm of Śrī Kṛṣṇa adorned with an armlet, addressed both Keśava and Arjuna.
संयज उवाच
Even amid war, rightful leadership is marked by restraint, reverence, and accountability to dharma. Yudhiṣṭhira’s gesture and address signal that decisions should be grounded in moral duty and guided by wise counsel.
Yudhiṣṭhira physically takes hold of Kṛṣṇa’s right arm (adorned with an armlet) and then speaks to both Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna, setting up an important exchange before subsequent action in the battle narrative.
